Very Interesting..... regarding the internal power training, based on your style, how do you train to obtain qi power? Anyway, where was the style originated from?
Sensitivity training form (dancing with the dragon) is a good start Cikalong Silat,Wing Chun Gung Fu are good references.
Internal chi breathing practices (dragon coiling the sphere) help to.But in the end having a good understanding martial sciences and mechanics are the best foundations for generating chi power.
I'm just wondering if the dancing with dragon exercice is similar to other internal arts practice - Zhan Zhuang, Wu Ji, Tai Chi forms, etc.
I do agree that zhan zhuang and slow movements in training trains the stabilizers ...... but I'm still researching on ways to train fa-jing in a more systematic manner.
Dancing with the Dragon while yes the moves can be practiced at slow speeds similar to tai chi,but can go faster when it is required. This dragon exercise trains martial movement for combat skills while helping to develop internal power and sensitivity.
My experience fa-jing can be trained in a free flowing maneuver if you have a understanding of the mechanics and power generation principals. While yes many arts differ on how the use them, but same over all effect is achieved when done right..
